FAQs: Produced Water Society
What are the benefits of joining the Produced Water Society?
Here are just some of the many benefits of becoming a PWS Member:
- Professional Development - come and learn the latest in Produced Water innovations, regulations, and business opportunities at our annual meeting. Papers are presented by industry leaders from all over the world.
- Networking - The PWS Conference gives our members an opportunity to network with new suppliers, new business partners and a forum to share ideas and knowledge with other industry professionals. Need to find the best practitioner, a consultant or equipment provider? Chances are you meet them in person at the next PWS event.
- The PWS Resource Library - For over 15 years the PWS has been the premier forum for delivering information on everything from new technology to government rules and regulations. As a member, you can purchase any of the white papers given at a member's discount.
How do I become more involved in the PWS?
There are a number of ways you can volunteer to help. In addition to giving a paper our next conference, we need help in the following areas: Membership Recruitment, Publicity, Event Coordination and Administrative Activities. Please see Colin Tyrie or any of our Board members if you would like to help out.
How do I acquire past papers?
Past PWS Seminar papers have become a highly sought-after source of insight over the last 10 years. Organizations are now able to purchase previous seminar papers directly from The Produced Water Society. To purchase previous seminar papers, click Here or head to the Seminar Papers section under Resources.
How do I present a paper at the seminar?
The seminar is held in Houston every January and abstracts can be emailed or mailed to Colin Tyrie at any time during the year. The successful authors are notified on the 1st November each year preceeding the next January seminar.
