PRODUCED WATER HANDLING AND TECHNOLOGY

Whether you're new to produced water treatment or just in need of a refresher, this course provides a fundamental understanding of the science and practical applications of water treating and presents the primary mechanisms behind various water treating equipment and processes. Presented by John Walsh, with Morris Hoagland and including a presentation on dissolved solids removal and brine concentration by Tom Pankratz, attendees of this training course will receive practical knowledge sourced from experience at dozens of water treating facilities from around the globe.

You should expect to receive real-world training that analyzes and explains field equipment in terms of surface science, chemistry, and engineering principles that is grounded in science but is easily understood with little prior study, and can be immediately implemented in the field.

THE COURSE SEMINAR WILL COVER THE FOLLOWING TOPICS:

• Characterization of oil/water/gas for treatment

• Equipment selection and performance

• Process engineering and process line-ups

• Chemical treating

• Operations, monitoring, surveillance & troubleshooting

Lessons learned and best practices are presented from all major hydrocarbon production regions, including both onshore and offshore systems, as well as water treating for injection disposal, water flood, polymer make-up and flooding, steam flooding, and hydraulic fracturing.

THIS IS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR ANYONE LOOKING TO:

• Improve your upstream marketability

• Broaden your knowledge base on the subject

• Bring your team up to speed

• Get firsthand information straight from highly experienced industry professionals

Don't miss a chance to learn from some of the best minds in produced water with more than 40 years of combined experience in the Gulf of Mexico, the North Sea, the Middle East and North Africa, and South Asia. Stick around afterward for the Young Professionals Reception.
